Saturday, November 22, the Reformed Dutch Church of Claverack will hold their annual Bazaar. Lots of homemade holiday items will be available for sale, a silent auction, bake sale, and a delicious lunch will be served! The event opens at 10:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm.  The congregation of the Reformed Dutch Church of Claverack has been active since 1716! Please visit them on Saturday for some good eats and special holiday treasures.

Please join us in supporting the Churchtown Fire Company Vendor & Craft Fair on Saturday December 6 and Sunday December 7 at the firehouse, located at 2219 County Route 27. The event runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.  Please support a great cause – and enjoy some baked goods and refreshments while you’re at it!

Sunday, December 7th we learn all about the “Secrets of the Post Office.” The Claverack Library presents the program, in conjunction with employees of the Claverack Post Office.  Speakers will talk about how the postal service works and manages to deliver all of those holiday packages!. The event begins at 3:00 pm at the Claverack Library (629 State Route 23B) and plans to end around 5:00 pm.

It’s the Annual Santa Claus Club Parade! The parade will begin by the American Legion Hall in Philmont and proceed down Main Street. Lineup begins at 5:00 pm with step-off at 6:00 pm. This year Santa will be visiting with the children in front of the new Christmas trees at Veterans Park where each child (up to age 12) will receive a special present from Santa. This event is free of charge.
