![]() It appears we are on course to receive some (possibly significant) snow on Wednesday and Thursday (Thanksgiving). Here is the latest update issued by Columbia County 911... "The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Columbia County, effective Wednesday morning through Thursday morning. Snow accumulations of 9"+ are possible. Snow should begin Wednesday morning (7a-9a time frame) and continue through early Thursday morning (8a-9a time frame). Please keep in mind this storm is still a couple days away and the specifics (timing and accumulations) could easily change. It all depends on the track this storm ultimately takes. But it is safe to say, a winter storm will affect holiday travel Wednesday and Thursday. Please plan your travels accordingly and stay tuned to local media outlets for up-to-date forecasts." As the briefing says, if you have travel plans, please modify them as necessary to avoid travel during the height of this storm.
